On 14th June, GXU Law school and Chongzuo City Market Supervision Administration, Bureau of Justice signed the agreement of building ‘law practice education base’ and ‘ASEAN-related high-end legal personnel training base’ and held a cooperation and exchange talks.

Chongzuo City Market Supervision Administration, the Bureau of Justice and Law school leaders jointly unveiled the plaque for the base, in the talks, the parties around the content of the agreement, to explore how to give full play to their respective strengths, in the foreign rule of law theory and practice research, foreign rule of law personnel training and other areas to promote in-depth cooperation.

Huang Yinghong, director of Chongzuo Municipal Market Supervision Administration, said that through the co-operation and co-construction of the base, an important bridge has been built between Chongzuo Municipal Market Supervision Administration and the Law School of Guangxi University for the two-way in-depth docking of resources. ‘I hope that both sides will give full play to their respective advantages, carry out multi-level all-round cooperation, launch a series of working systems, innovative theories and typical case results, and transform the results into an ‘intellectual engine’ to promote the development of the rule of law in market supervision.’

With the construction of China - ASEAN Free Trade Area and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) in full force, Chongzuo City, as China's openness to ASEAN as a bridgehead for co-operation, to speed up the ASEAN-related legal talent team construction is also more and more urgent.
