Associate Professor Lin Ke-liang published an op-ed in Guangming Daily

On August 23rd, Associate Professor Lin Ke-liang, Director of the Practice Teaching Centre and Head of the Civil and Commercial Law Teaching and Research Department of the Law School of Guangxi University, published a signed article entitled ‘Promoting the Premiere Economy and Strengthening the Protection Efforts’ on the 7th page of Guangming Daily.

The article introduces the ‘premiere economy’ as a new business model and market ecosystem. It emphasised its brand-pulling power, its ability to drive demand, promote consumption, open up new markets, and bring business opportunities and profit margins for enterprises. The article points out that in order to actively develop the premiere economy, it is necessary to introduce new technologies, new services and new business models, and to increase policy incentives and rule of law safeguards. National and local governments should formulate supportive policies, improve incentive mechanisms and provide rule of law safeguards, including measures such as setting up special development funds, granting one-off incentives or subsidies and optimising the business environment.
